How to Create Your Word Search
- Enter your words - Type your words one per line. Use any words you like - vocabulary lists, guest names, themed terms, or study material.
- Set your options - Choose a title for your puzzle, pick a grid size (10×10 up to 20×20), and toggle direction options like vertical, diagonal, reverse, and word crossing.
- Preview in real time - See your puzzle and solution update live as you make changes. The preview shows which words were placed and which were skipped if they don't fit.
- Download as PDF - Export a print-ready PDF that includes both the puzzle grid and the solution page. Or hit regenerate for a fresh layout with the same words.
Customisation Options
- Grid size - From 10×10 for quick puzzles to 20×20 for serious challenges.
- Direction controls - Toggle vertical, diagonal, reverse (backward), and word-crossing placement independently.
- Letter case - Choose uppercase or lowercase letters.
- Custom title - Set a title that appears on the grid and PDF (e.g. "Week 5 Spelling Words" or "Emma's Birthday Party").
